Mapping VoiceMeeter

Finding the config file:

  1. Use the "run" command by pressing windows + r and type %appdata%
  2. Open the volume-master folder
  3. Open the file config.yaml with a text editor like notepad

This YAML config file is where all the app and VoiceMeeter mappings are kept. You can add custom .exe paths here as well if you struggle to find your program in the software’s GUI. Please note that the formatting is important and case sensitive.

In this example config file Master volume is mapped to knob 1, Discord knob 2, Spotify knob 3 and Firefox and Chrome are mapped to knob 4. You can also see that there is a VoiceMeeter input on knob 1.

Mapping VoiceMeeter:

Use Input followed by the input number starting at zero to map input volumes and use Output followed by the output number starting at zero to map output volumes. So "Input0" or "Output2". VoiceMeeter can be a bit slower than normal applications volumes.

Make sure VoiceMeeter is running, then turn it on in the VolumeMaster settings and select the correct version from the drop down.
