Quick Start Guide

If the device does not show up when plugged in, you most likely need to download and install the CP210x Universal Windows Driver. This is normally included with Windows, however some installations don't seem to have it.

  1. Download and extract the latest VolumeMaster software
  2. Run VolumeMaster.exe and ensure it remains with the other included files.
  3. Set the COM port your VolumeMaster is connected to on your computer using the drop down. Note it might be different to the one already in the box!
  4. Ensure the VoiceMeeter toggle is disabled unless you intend to use it.
  5. Select Apps tab to change application mappings.
  6. In the large text box add applications (or VoiceMeeter) mappings to each knob. To do this simply type their process name followed by a semicolon (;) do not use spaces between applications. Please note that the process name is not always the same as the programs display name. Eg Chrome -> chrome.exe this can be found in task manager-> details.
  7. If you want to map system wide volume control then type in "master"

You may get a unknown publisher warning. This is normal. As a small business  I cannot afford associated software publishing costs . If you’re concerned, the full source code and additional information is openly available on GitHub. My GitHub username is Wilsondotzip. I strive to make the development process for the VolumeMaster and its associated software as transparent as possible.
