Quick Start Guide

Happy to announce the switch to the new software. You can find the old software here

  1. Download and install the required CH340 USB drivers.
  2. Download the latest software.
  3. Run the VolumeMaster Setup and follow the installer instructions
  4. Connect your VolumeMaster directly to your PC with a USB cable.
  5. Open the newly installed VolumeMaster software
  6. Go to the settings tab, and select the USB COM port your VolumeMaster is connected to on your computer using the drop down. Note it might be different to the one already in the box!
  7. Drag and drop running apps from the search bar to the knobs you’d like to map them to!
  8. You can find input devices like microphones in the Input Devices tab
  9. Minimise the program and keep it running in the background

If you make changes they are automatically saved and applied. See below for trouble shooting.

If you come across a bug let me know I reply quickest over Instagram but you can also use the contact form.

  3. Make sure VoiceMeeter is enabled in VolumeMaster settings (Click to enable)
  4. Restart the VolumeMaster Software
  5. Now a new VoiceMeeter Tab will appear in knob mappings. Inside will be all the VoiceMeeter mappings available to drag and drop to each knob.

Troubleshooting:

Before the following ensure you have the correct USB drivers installed. Make sure the device shows up in device manager as the following. If it does not the most likely cause is a bad cable. A lot of cables are power only, try a few other cables. You can test a cable by plugging in your phone and checking if it shows up not just charges.

Device Disconnected.

This error will show when the device is not connecting properly and is commonly caused by the following.

  1. The wrong COM port is selected in settings
  2. A hardware error with the device

This means a COM port is connected to but the software isn't receiving any signals. Three common reasons are its the wrong COM port, incorrect USB drivers, or there is something wrong with the device. Firstly verify the correct COM port is selected. You can check this by seeing which COM port shows up when you plug in your device.Although unlikely it can happen. Please contact me through support and I will sort you out!
