Use the Old Software
If you have any issues with the new software, send through a message and I will try and get them fixed as soon as possible. However, in the meantime you can try using the old software.
Download and install the required CH340 USB drivers.
- Download and extract the latest VolumeMaster software
- Connect your VolumeMaster directly to your PC with a USB cable.
- Run VolumeMaster.exe and ensure it remains with the other included files.
- Set the COM port your VolumeMaster is connected to on your computer using the drop down. Note it might be different to the one already in the box!
- Ensure the VoiceMeeter toggle is disabled unless you intend to use it.
- Select Apps tab to change application mappings.
- In the large text box add applications (or VoiceMeeter) mappings to each knob. To do this simply type their process name followed by a semicolon (;) do not use spaces between applications. Please note that the process name is not always the same as the programs display name. Eg Chrome -> chrome.exe this can be found in task manager-> details.
- If you want to map system wide volume control then type in "master"
- Make sure to hit "Save all"
Keep this running in the background to make your VolumeMaster work. Its highly recommended to add VolumeMaster to run on startup. Go to windows volume mixer to verify things are working.

Troubleshooting:
Before the following ensure you have the correct USB drivers installed. Make sure the device shows up in device manager as the following
If the program is "green" but volume isn't being controlled.
This means a COM port is connected to but the software isn't receiving any signals. Three common reasons are its the wrong COM port, incorrect USB drivers, or there is something wrong with the device. Firstly verify the correct COM port is selected. You can check this by seeing which COM port shows up when you plug in your device. Then, if the issue persists you can try using the firmware flasher to fix any corruption in the devices firmware. Although unlikely it can happen. Please contact me through support and I will sort you out!
